Después de un tiempo (más del debido) un nuevo haiku:

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

Hace 5 años que no se sabe nada de Spike Jonze y, gracias a uno de mis blogs preferidos, me he enterado en el proyecto en el que está metido.

No conocía el libro, pero la verdad es que lo que se ve en el trailer es la leche. Espero que sea, al menos, tan buena como su última película.

There have been five years since I heard about Spike Jonze and, reading one of my favorite blogs, I notice what is he doing now.

I didn't know about the book but the trailer looks really good!. Hope is at least as good as his last movie.

PORTADA / COVER

"The Queen is dead boys!".La portada es sencilla Alain Delon tumbado en una escena de la película L'Insoumis, entre muerto y dormido...idea y diseño de Morrisey. Tiene algo de misterioso, algo de tétrico, algo de onírico. Me gusta.

El disco, en mi opinión está muy bien. Lo escuchas de una sin parar y reconoces 3 ó 4 canciones a la primera. Es un clásico. El equipo Marr-Morrisey todavía en buen funcionamiento y con las ideas claras.

Hay un par de curiosidades en este disco, la primera es que se le atribuyen los coros a Ann Coates, pero fue una alteración de la voz de Morrisey lo que hizo que sonara así (Ancoats es un barrio del norte de Manchester); y la asegunda, aparece The Hated Salford Esemble como autores de la orquestración del album...en verdad fué Johnny Marr utilizando varios recursos. 

"The Queen is dead boys!". The cover is simple, Alain Delon laid on a L'Insoumis scene, half dead, half sleeping...the idea and the desing by Morrisey. Has something mysterious, gloomy and dreamy. I like it.

The album is good, on my opinion. You can listen to it full and you would reconized 3 ó 4 songs sure. It´s a classic. The Morrisey-Marr team working and with clear mind.

there are a couple freak things on the credits, first, It says Ann Coates was the chorus girl, but was Morrisey by a voice alteration (Ancoats is a Manchester neighborhood); and the second one, It says that the responable of the orchestra was the Hated Salford Esemble...but it seems to be Johnny Marr himself.

Esa es exactamente la distancia entre Nueva York y Filadelfia. Lizania Cruz hizo ese viaje varias veces y fotografió los cambios de color en cada estación. Todo lo editó en un mini-zine. Lo que se ve es precioso.

Thats the exactly distance between New york city and Philadelphia. Lizania Cruz made that distance a different times and picture all seasons. She edit it on a mini-zine. What it shows is beautiful.

Estoy terminando la web de CDC SPORT 09 y , la verdad, me está llevando mucho tiempo...por eso estoy desatendiendo un poco mi web y mi blog... espero terminar en breve y poder actualizarlo todo como toca.

I'm finishing right now the design for the CDC SPORT 09 website. The thing is that is taking me too much and that's why I'm forgetting my web and blog. Hope to finish soon and be able to work on mine.

FUTURE?

Con el futuro que prepara Microsoft estamos toodos salvados ... tecnológicamente hablando.

No ha tenido, lo que se diga una vida sencilla, aunque podríamos decir que tiene algo con la suerte...buena y mala. A los 18 tuvo un accidente de coche que lo dejo en silla de ruedas y parcialmente paralítico. Musico temprano (escribe desde los 5 años) se dió cuenta que podía seguir tocando la guitarra y gracias a su música Michael Stipe le produjo y no ha parado de trabajar y grabar con mucha, mucha gente.

Me gustan especialmente West of Rome y The Salesman and Bernadette este último con Lambchop.

Didn't have a easy life, but we could say has something with the luck...good and bad. At 18 he had a car accident that left him 90% paralitic. Young musician (he started writing songs at 5) he realized could still play his guitar and thanks to his music Michael Stipe produced his first record and hasn't stopped playing and recording with a lot of diferent people.

I like the West of Rome album and the Salesman and Bernadette too, this last one with Lambchop.

LA CANCIÓN OCULTA/THE HIDDEN SONG

Este grupo me gusta. Es justo el estilo de música que me gusta. Me hubiera gustado verlos en Madrid hace unas semanas, pero cuando fuí a sacar las entradas, se habían agotado, muy listo.

En todos sus discos que tengo (el último no lo tengo...) al final del disco, hay una canción oculta. Supongo que lo hacen para dar un extra. Creo recordar que Green day también lo hacían...al menos en un disco.

I like this band. They do exactly the kind of music I like. I would like to have seen them a few weeks a go in Madrid but I went to buy the tickets and was all sold out, pretty smart myself.

On every CD I've got (I miss the last one) at the end of the CD is a hidden song, I guess is a present to their fans. I think Green day did that as well, at list in one of their CD's.

His work, with his studio OMB Desing and art goes from Europe, America till Asia.
